Okay, not really; I'm not mean. But, for what I want to do, Etsy doesn't work.
I don't want to get rich off knitting or crocheting, nor am I trying to start a small business. I love to knit & crochet, and a few people enjoy my work, but I have no pie-in-the-sky dream of making this my livelihood. Instead, this site will be a forum for me to discuss my love of fiber arts, show off my work, and, if you want, we can arrange a purchase.
This site is an opportunity to start fiber arts discussions, bounce around ideas, seek and give tips & tricks, and generally have fun with yarn and cloth.
And FWFA (pronounced "few-fa"; fun with fiber arts) seemed like a cheesy name.
